A former associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, David was almost always the funniest guy in the room. While there, he worked on a wide variety of entertainment deals ranging from The Endeavor Agency's merger with William Morris to a $240 million financing for Alcon Entertainment's film slate. A graduate of Columbia University and the University of Chicago Law School, David is happy to translate his love for standup and knowledge of law into management.
Coming to Next Round from the world of higher education, Jim uses his knowledge of consulting work, financial modeling, and sales to put the business in show business.
A successful comedian who has been on everything from The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson to a Barbara Walters Special, Hofstetter is the P-Diddy of the comedy world (albeit less insane). Having produced over a dozen comedy albums and multi-million dollar live tours, Hofstetter is well known in the industry for his business acumen, and is happy to use it to help other artists.
After spending years as a local musician, Kevin found himself excelling as a promoter, and has been promoting comedy clubs and music venues since. He is passionate about branding, marketing, and filling venues, and is excited to use his entertainment savvy for Next Round. SUPPORT STAFF
Barry Mackey helped found Next Round Entertainment's publicity department, and has set up hundreds of stories, features, and live appearances. With an undergraduate degree in journalism from Northwestern and life long love of standup comedy, Barry is happy to be here, and he's not just saying that because his bosses can read this.
A Boston native and a proud former coffee house guitarist, Kerri is happily out of the music world. Though she may still hum in the shower, Kerri now spends her time talking to magazines, newspapers, radio stations, tv networks, and blogs. |
